Space Missions - Adventures in Astronomy (K-4th) Thursday 2:15-3:15

$350.00

16 Weeks of class meeting September 1st - December 31st with a week off for Thanksgiving and a week off for Christmas

This class invites young students into a joyful, hands‑on introduction to astronomy as they discover the beauty of God’s universe from inside our learning space. Designed for Grades K–4, this daytime program blends sky science, simple optics, creative engineering, and faith‑centered wonder with inspiration from NASA’s Artemis missions — the program returning astronauts to the Moon.

Throughout the semester, students build mini telescopes, create constellation projectors, explore light and shadow with mirrors and flashlights, learn the colors and sizes of stars, model the phases of the Moon, and design imaginative Moon bases inspired by real Artemis concepts. Every activity is crafted for young learners — playful, hands‑on, and full of discovery — while still offering a meaningful foundation for future STEM learning.
