Flight School (5th-8th) Tuesday 11:15-12:15

$412.00

16 Weeks of class meeting September 1st - December 31st with a week off for Thanksgiving and a week off for Christmas

Flight School is a specialty aerospace engineering class that gives students a true engineering experience—not a generic STEM craft day. Students work through a guided engineering design process as they explore how God designed creation to fly. They investigate aerodynamic forces such as lift, drag, thrust, weight, stability, and wing geometry while building and refining multiple flight projects.

Instead of assembling pre‑made kits, students learn to evaluate design choices, interpret airflow behavior, test structural stability, and make engineering‑based refinements. They also explore how birds and insects demonstrate God’s engineering brilliance and use beginner flight simulation to understand how pilots control aircraft.

This class stands apart because of its engineering depth, faith‑centered worldview, and hands‑on mentorship. Students receive individualized guidance, structured design challenges, and meaningful scientific instruction that goes far beyond typical enrichment programs.

Grades 5–8. Limited seats to ensure personalized engineering feedback.
